Tiblow Days - 2008

Each year, we celebrate the heritage of Bonner Springs during the Tiblow Days festival held on the fourth weekend in August. During the 3 day festival, events are held to commemorate the town, its founder, Henry Tiblow, and the ferry. Henry Tiblow and his wife, Polyanna Marshall, set up a ferry used to cross the Kaw River and as well as a trading post that brought residents and commerce to the area. Originally called Tiblow, the town of Bonner Springs was officially named in 1885. Tiblow Days features parades, crafts, entertainment, a car show, and activities for the kids.

Thank you to the City of Bonner Springs Office Staff, Police Department, Fire Department, Emergency Medical Services, Parks & Recreation and Public Works for all their assistance.

Free Parking | Tiblow Transit Shuttle Service stops every 15 minutes at designated areas on Saturday only | Program Subject to Change
